Alpha Upsilon Chapter - “Brooklyn Omega”, Social Action Committee, collaborated with the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation to honor Restoration’s founder, Robert F. Kennedy. This annual celebration promotes literacy and healthy lifestyles in Central Brooklyn. Over 300 children ages 0 – 15 enjoyed a variety of activities, which included storytelling, petting zoo, face painting, live music, a Christmas musical and a Kwanzaa celebration.

Brooklyn Omega host AU Dr. Charles R. Drew 3rd Annual Blood Drive. This year event was a block party in which the chapter provided free food, drinks and fun while registering 67 people to donate blood, and collecting 51 Units of blood.
